High-level Clinical Key Specialty Discipline Leader in Guangdong Province, Director of the Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Nanozyme Oncology Translational Medicine, Chief Physician, and PhD Supervisor

With over 37 years of experience in clinical and basic research in otorhinolaryngology, I possess solid foundational theoretical knowledge and proficient clinical surgical skills. My main research directions include the basic and clinical studies of auditory and balance-related diseases, as well as early screening, diagnosis, and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. In recent years, I have focused on the application of nanomaterials, particularly single-atom nanozymes, in the diagnosis and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and the repair of auditory organ damage. Based on this research, I have led major projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and key projects for sustainable development in Shenzhen. I have undertaken more than 20 national, provincial, and municipal-level projects, received one second prize and two third prizes for provincial scientific research achievements, authored one professional book, co-authored two, and hold 15 authorized patents. To date, I have published over 80 papers in journals such as Cell Metabolism, Nature Communications, and PNAS, with a total of over 1,600 citations and an h-index of 19 (Google Scholar). In 2020, I was honored with the title of "Model Worker of Shenzhen," and in 2021, I received the "May Day Labor Medal of Guangdong Province."
