Innovative Drug Development and Precision Health Products with Medicinal Food Homology
Focusing on nano-targeted drug delivery technology, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) chemistry, chemical synthesis, computer-aided design, high-throughput screening, pharmacology, and novel formulation technologies, we aim to address major challenging diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. We establish relevant cell and animal models to screen for active small molecule compounds in TCM, developing high-efficiency, low-toxicity nano-grade TCM microcapsules with targeted properties. This comprehensive research includes quality standards, drug stability, preclinical efficacy, and safety studies, forming a technology platform for innovative drug development for elderly disease prevention and treatment with distinctive advantages. Our lab specializes in brain-targeted anti-Alzheimer's nano technology and drug delivery systems with numerous patents and provincial and ministerial awards. We have published 93 papers, filed and obtained 92 patents, and are equipped with over 6 million RMB worth of equipment, including HPLC, preparative liquid chromatography, supercritical extraction devices, enzyme markers, drug stability chambers, tablet presses, intelligent dissolution testers, a supercomputing platform for computer-aided drug design, freeze dryers, TCM pulverizers, muffle furnaces, and UV spectrophotometers.
