The Medical Innovation and Technology Transformation Center of Shenzhen Second People's Hospital (hereinafter referred to as the "Center") is a branch institution of Shenzhen Second People's Hospital, approved by the Office of the Shenzhen Municipal Institutional Organization Committee. The Center is located on the 5th floor of Building 2, International Biomedical Industrial Park, No. 2 Hongliu Road, Futian District, Shenzhen, covering an area of approximately 10,000 square meters. It acts as a key stronghold for Shenzhen Second People's Hospital in building a high-level research-oriented hospital.
The Center's mission is to address the forefront of global medical science and technology, meet major national needs, and tackle significant human diseases prevention, personalized diagnosis, and treatment. It aims to attract and cultivate high-level talent, promote openness and integration, focus on technological development and achievement transformation, and overcome the bottlenecks in medical technology transformation and application. It aims to foster exploration in medical science and technology between mainland China, the Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and internationally. Furthermore, it aims to promote regional industrial structure optimization and upgrading, enhancing the competitiveness, innovation, and global influence of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the field of medical science.
